I bought a 1994 Honda FourTrax and it had a Chinese carb already on it. It did not include the factory carb or parts. The Chinese carb runs fine but Im having a overflow issue and trying to set the float is giving me problems cause these are no brand carbs and no specs to go by. But I can tell you it runs and has power. Just trying to remedy the float problem. A replacement stock carb is $316. No way in hell am I going to spend that on a 94 model. Or any other model. Sounds like yours was running rich and needed tweaked.

Sometimes the muffler get full of gasoline from a bad fuel pump and it smokes really bad but there's nothing wrong with the engine that's what happened to mine

Very cool. Love these old Honda's. I have a 98 foreman 400fw with a blade & a winch. Beats the crap out of shoveling. It's totally stock with the original engine. Pretty good considering I live @ 7000ft so in the winter it works for a living 👍👍

I would not do that! Don't try this at home!!!!!! I remember having snakes and snaps in the fire once, and the snaps didn't go off at all, and the snakes did just what they normally do. I either didn't have any smoke balls or couldn't find them, and I wouldn't do stinks, because of the chemicals in them. I DEFINITELY wouldn't do exploding fireworks like these!!!!! If you want any fireworks in a bonfire, just stick to snaps and snakes.

I need to get a plow it would make life a lot easier and I can help my elderly neighbor out clearing her driveway.

I'm building a round hay bale boiler. My door is going to be 4' x 4'. How did you insulate the door? My door is going to be huge and frickin heavy so I'm trying to figure out the best way to go about the door build. If I double the door and add fire brick then it's going to be super heavy and just the hinges are going to be a lot to figure out. What's your thoughts? Yes, it's going to burn round hay bales. It's got 3 huge water storage tanks on an open system.

I'm thinking about doing a mower conversion like that. I freaking hate the sickle mowers, and can't afford a disc. How would you say the bales turned out? We're they good square?

rode a 1987 xr 100 in 2015 while I was waiting to get a new bike, rode it for a year then gave it back to my dads buddy, hydro locked the thing 2 times and it still runs today

the crank seal failure seems a very popular issue with these old Kitty cats... i acquired a 1979 model last summer someone left up for grabs at the transfer station with a seized piston, and so i loosened it up and then i had it running fine for a few days til all a sudden it wont suction in any gas, and so i think now mine likely has this same problem... thanks for all the tips !

Thank you very much. It was the linkage cable. I didn't need a new one. It just got stuck so I took it off of the carburator an greased the linkage cable back & forth through the sleeve then hooked it back up. Runs great now. Thanks again!
